To safely remove the knobs from your PRS Guitar, we advise taking a clean microfiber or cotton cloth, placing it under the knob (between the bottom of the knob and the guitar top or pickguard) and applying light pressure on either side of the knob in an upwards direction.
A slight rocking motion leveraging the knob back and forth will help to free the knob from the grip of the pot shaft.
Improperly removing knobs from your guitar potentiometers may result in damage to the potentiometer shaft. Rock the knob carefully and avoid pulling upwards or side-to-side forcefully.
