Pickup Height Adjustment
The pickups on your PRS instrument are fully adjustable by turning the height adjustment screws at each end of the pickup. These specifications apply to both Maryland-made and SE models.
To measure pickup height:
- Ensure neck relief, string action, and intonation are set to spec.
- Tune the instrument to pitch.
- Depress the high E at the last fret.
- Take the measurements from the bottom of the high E string to the top of the pickup cover (or bobbin) at the center of the pickup for each pickup.
- Repeat for the low E string.
